Inspired by my surroundings living in New York while attending The New School, when i got an assignment based on architecture for drawing and imagine I knew what to do. In the middle of the bustling city when I was constantly working with no time to take a day off to even get a taste of nature in Central Park, I found nature in the people all around me. Every window gave a glimpse into someone elses universe. at any hour of the day when I would step outside for fresh air (and a cigarette) I would find myself gazing at the life all around me. when in the midst of the concrete jungle, the nature of us humans only stands out more. I would be overwhelmed by a profound sense of what is called “sonder”. A oneness with the life all around me in the lifeless cement and lights.
